Profiling Silhouette of a Christ Follwer |
Profiling: - noun
The act or process of extrapolating information about a person based on known traits or tendencies.
While the practice of profiling has garnered great attention in recent years, it is not a new concept. In fact, the apostle Paul used the practice around 2000 years ago. In Romans chapter 12, Paul the Profiler outlines the characteristics – the traits and tendencies – of an authentic Christ-follower. If we were profiled, would we be “suspected” of being a Christian? Beginning in January 2010, we will examine Paul’s letter to see how our lives compare to that profile. Don’t miss this opportunity to start your new year off with a profile of authentic faith that could propel you to a new level of spiritual growth.
